Unite, Driven as One: Building Alignment at Scale with Tokio Marine

When Tokio Marine brought together teams across functions and levels under the conference theme “Unite, Driven as One,” the objective was more than just engagement — it was about creating genuine alignment, collaboration, and shared momentum across the organisation.

EduAction was engaged to design and deliver a large-scale experiential learning journey that transformed the theme from words on a screen into real, shared experiences.

Through immersive challenges, participants didn’t just talk about unity — they experienced what it truly meant to move, solve, and succeed together.

🟩 THE CHALLENGE

Tokio Marine sought to create a meaningful conference experience that could:

  • Strengthen collaboration across teams and departments
  • Break down silos between participants
  • Reinforce alignment towards a common purpose
  • Create engagement that was memorable, practical, and impactful

The experience needed to go beyond conventional conference activities and allow participants to actively live out the organisation’s message of unity and shared drive.

🟩 OUR APPROACH

EduAction curated a multi-module experiential learning journey built around three signature programs:

🏎️ Forward 1

Focused on alignment, speed, and moving towards a shared direction as one team.

⛰️ Mount Tikimanjaro

Designed to strengthen resilience, trust, and collective endurance under pressure.

🧭 Chin A Jones

Encouraged collaboration, creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving through immersive discovery challenges.

Together, these experiences were intentionally designed to reinforce the idea that sustainable performance happens when individuals operate in sync towards a common goal.

🟩 THE EXPERIENCE

Across the program, participants:

  • Worked together to overcome complex challenges
  • Strengthened communication and trust across functions
  • Experienced moments of pressure, breakthrough, and achievement together
  • Learned the importance of alignment and collective execution

As teams navigated each challenge, participants discovered that success was not dependent on individual performance alone — but on how effectively the team moved together.

The energy, collaboration, and shared victories throughout the experience brought the conference theme to life in a powerful and memorable way.

🟩 THE RESULT

The program created a highly engaging and impactful shared experience that reinforced Tokio Marine’s message of unity and collaboration.

Participants left with:

  • Stronger interdepartmental relationships
  • Greater appreciation for teamwork and alignment
  • A clearer understanding of how collective effort drives performance

Most importantly, teams experienced firsthand what it means to be truly “United and Driven as One.”

🟩 KEY HIGHLIGHT

Seeing hundreds of participants collaborate, support one another, and complete challenges together served as a powerful reminder:

When people unite with purpose, momentum becomes unstoppable.
